Amplicon DNA Sequencing - Custom sequencing of virtually any region

 

• Service: We determine the nucleotide sequence of specified regions in individual genomic DNA samples provided by the customer. We deliver annotated sequencing reports and genotype summary tables for all observed variants. This service is also known as “Resequencing” or “SNP Discovery”.

• Process: DNA samples are specifically amplified by nested PCR to create short amplicons that are then used as templates for bidirectional Sanger Sequencing. Detection is performed on ABI 3730xl sequencers.

• Service Options:

• Additional sample QC: Prior to sequencing, we can perform real-time PCR to accurately determine the concentration of functional DNA in human genomic samples. We run all samples in duplicate and we report the final DNA quantities measured.

• Roche 454 Sequencing: Amplicon DNA sequencing is also available using the Roch 454 Platform. Roche 454 Sequencing is especially useful for mutation analysis in which variants may be present at a low level. [see Roche 454 DNA Sequencing]

Order minimums: 48 samples, 200 bp target, 6 targets.
