Genomic DNA Samples
• Format: Please provide samples of genomic DNA in 96 well plates. Skirted plates are preferred to facilitate automated handling.
• Sample purity: The genomic DNA must be pure enough to be suitable for a successful PCR reaction.
• Quantity: Please provide at least 300 nanograms of genomic DNA per sample. We prefer a concentration of 10 nanograms per microliter. Please attempt to concentration-normalize your samples.
• Sample layout and sample naming: Please specify sample names and well locations using the “Genomic Sample Form” pages of our order form. Alternatively, you can send us a table listing names and well positions in an Excel or text file. Please use unique sample names and avoid the use of algebraic or control characters (such as $ or @) in the names.

Sequencing and Genotyping Targets
• Specific genomic DNA sequences: Please provide the genomic DNA sequence of the region(s) of interest using the “Genomic Sequence Information Sheet” in our order form. As indicated in the form, please paste in the exact genomic sequence that you would like analyzed. Please do not add any additional flanking sequence for primer design (our design program will address this issue.) List exons separately and give each region a name (exon1, exon2, etc). Again, for this form we need only the sequence you would like analyzed. Alternatively, please provide an Excel file listing the sequences, or their coordinates, or specific Reference SNP Accession Numbers from NCBI’s dbSNP.
• SNP genotyping targets: To submit target information for SNP genotyping, please download our SNP Scoring Form. For this form, please provide SNP ID and sequence information using the standard IUPAC codes. Indicate the polymorphic site using brackets and please supply sequence information 50 bases upstream and 50 bases downstream from the polymorphic site. Alternatively, please provide an Excel file listing their coordinates or specific Reference SNP Accession Numbers from NCBI’s dbSNP.
