Roche 454 DNA Sequencing - with PCR prep and library prep options
- Basic Service: We perform emulsion PCR on your library (or one prepared by us) and run the product on a Roche 454 GS Junior DNA Sequencer. We deliver all sequence files. We offer optional library prep and data analysis.
- PCR prep and sample-specific tagging for amplicon sequencing: We can perform the front-end PCR amplification and sample-specific tagging for use in amplicon sequencing. We use our 2-step nested PCR process to generate small amplicons and we then perform a third PCR step to add sample-specific oligonucleotide tags. This service is available as a stand-alone service if you wish to run these products on your own 454 equipment or on other NextGen sequencing platforms.
- Mitochondrial sequencing: We first perform long-range PCR in order to enrich the sample for mitochondrial DNA. We then fragment the large amplicons and add sample-specific tags.
- General library prep services: There are now numerous 454 kits and protocols available for specific prep needs. We can perform these protocols as requested.
